VIRGINIA BEACH - Michael P. Goffigan Sr. of the 3700 block of Chimney Creek Drive died March 19, 1996.
Mr. Goffigan, a native of Princess Anne County, was a member of Rock Church, Virginia Beach. He was employed with Norfolk Naval Shipyard.
Survivors include his wife, Dolores J. Goffigan; a daughter, Felicia Goffigan of Norfolk; a stepdaughter, Davida M. Reddick of Virginia Beach; a son, Michael P. Goffigan Jr. of Norfolk; two stepsons, Thomas L. Reddick of Suffolk and Tony L. Reddick of Hampton; a sister, Dorothy G. Taylor of Virginia Beach; three brothers, Rufus Goffigan Jr., Allen Goffigan Sr. and Larry Goffigan, all of Virginia Beach; four grandchildren; an uncle, John Goffigan of Suffolk; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at Piney Grove Baptist Church, Holland Road, Virginia Beach, by the Rev. Charles A. Vinson. Burial will be in Carver Memorial Cemetery, Suffolk. Community Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, is in charge.
