Season tickets are now on sale for the 1996-97 season of the Portsmouth Community Concert Association, and new members who buy memberships before the April 8 concert will receive free admission.
The Cugat orchestra, under the direction of Ava Cavallo, will perform at 8 p.m. April 8 at Willett Hall.
The 1996-97 association's 58th season will open Oct. 14 with a concert by the Epic Brass. The brass quintet, directed by Earl Raney, plays a variety of music from Bach to boogie woogie.
Other programs will include:
Stephen Kechulius, baritone, and Carol Kechulius, piano, 8 p.m. Jan. 3, 1997.
Hungarian Festival Virtuosi with duo-pianists Ralph Markham and Kenneth Broadway, 3 p.m. Feb. 9;
The Black Mountain Male Chorus of Wales, 3 p.m. March 16.
