GLORIA F. CROSSWHITE

Gloria F. Crosswhite, 62, of the 1100 block of Georgetowne Road, passed away March 20, 1996, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Mrs. Crosswhite was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel T. Crosswhite Jr.

She is survived by her daughter, Cindy Circelli; son, Richard B. Crosswhite; sister, Karon Rowland, all of Virginia Beach; mother, Margaret Midyette and stepfather, Charles E. Midyette, of Norfolk; three grandchildren, Jessica L. and Matthew A. Circelli of Virginia Beach and Bryan Crosswhite Jr. of Chesapeake; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A visitation will be held todayfrom 6 to 7 p.m. at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, Virginia Beach. A Mass of the resurrection will begin at 7 p.m. with Father Thomas Caroluzca presiding. Interment will be Monday, at 2 p.m. in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Norfolk, with Father Thomas Caroluzca and Dr. Lewis McPharren presiding. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the charity of choice. Altmeyer Funeral Home is in charge.
