ROBERT A. JORDAL

Robert Allen Jordal, 68, of the 200 block of Rainbow Lane, died Saturday, March 23, 1996 in a Norfolk hospital.

Born in Philadelphia, Pa., Mr. Jordal was the son of the late William T. and Anna Hicks Jordal. He retired from General Electric in 1984 and was a member of VFW post 4809 and AARP. Mr. Jordal was a veteran of the Korean War serving in the U.S. Navy and the National Guard 28th Division stationed in Germany.

Survivors include a daughter, Patricia Ann Sam of Virginia Beach; two sons, William Robert Jordal of Chesapeake, Edward Allen Jordal of Virginia Beach; one sister, Virginia Scherfel of Philadelphia and five grandchildren.

A graveside service will be conducted Monday, March 25, 1996 at 2 p.m. in Chesapeake Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Dick Baker presiding. Twiford Colonial Chapel, Great Bridge, Chesapeake is handling arrangements.
