SISTER AGATHA CADOGAN

Sister Agatha Cadogan, DC, 85, died March 24, 1996, in the Sisters' residence at DePaul Medical Center.

Sister Agatha was a native of Elkridge, Md., and became a Daughter of Charity on Nov. 18, 1930. For 41 years until 1972 she taught school at the following locations, St. Vincent School, Albany, N.Y., St. Mary's, Troy, N.Y., Our Lady of Victory, Portsmouth, Our Lady of Lourdes, Utica, N.Y., St. John's School, Albany, N.Y., St. Catherine Laboure School, Harrisburg, Pa.; Holy Childhood Home, Boston, Mass., and Holy Cross, Lynchburg, Va.

Sister Agatha is survived by her sisters-in-law, Adele Cadogan, Ethel Cadogan and Grace Cadogan, all residing in Baltimore.

Sister Agatha has been in pastoral care at DePaul Medical Center in Norfolk for the last 23 years.

There will be viewing on Tuesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in Price Auditorium at DePaul Medical Center, with wake services at 3 p.m. and 8:15 p.m.

A Mass of the Resurrection will be held Wednesday at 9:30 a.m., preceded by a visitation from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Church, Newport and Painter Streets. She will then be taken to St. Joseph's Provincial House, Emmitsburg, Md., for a viewing on Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m., and a wake service at 7 p.m. A Mass of Resurrection will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. at the Basilica of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton. She will be buried in the cemetery of the Daughters of Charity in Emmitsburg, Md.
