Larry W. Brumbaugh, 61, died Saturday, March 23, 1996. He was an Army veteran, retiring in 1980 as Lt. Colonel with TRADOC, Fort Monroe.
Survivors include his wife, Diane Reeves Brumbaugh, daughters and sons-in-law, Robyn Ann and Roy Robert Newman of Poquoson, Sandra Dee and Bane F. Compton of Hampton; son, Robert Walter Brumbaugh of Hampton; sister, Mary Barbara Brumbaugh of Union City; brother and sister-in-law, Neil Allen and Judi Brumbaugh of Saluda, N.C.; mother-in-law, Mary Ellen Wright Reeves of Newport News and grandchildren, Renate Lynn and Stefanie Nicole Newman, Bane F. Jr. (BJ), Jessica Marie Compton and Kellie Catherine Brumbaugh.
Funeral services will be conducted 12:30 p.m. Wednesday by the Rev. Randolph E. Tucker Jr. in Peninsula Funeral Home with interment following in Peninsula Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 303 Butler Farm Road, Hampton, Va. 23666.
