JAMES WILLIAMS

James ``Jimmy'' Williams, of the 5000 block of Whitman Lane, died March 22, 1996, at Sentara Health Care, Rosemont.

Mr. Williams, an aircraft engineer, worked for the U.S. Government. He was a native of Latter, S.C., and a member of St. Mark R.Z.U.A. Church of Norfolk. He was a deacon board member and a member of Chancel Choir. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and the Korean Conflict.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Queen Williams; four daughters, Patricia Baker of New York, Patricia Williams of Athens, Ga., Zona Foster of Chesapeake, Cynthia Heyward of Virginia Beach; three sons, Sean Williams of Texas, Cameron Manuel Jr. of Lorton, Okla., and Dale Manuel of Cape Girrado, Mo.; 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be conducted at noon Wednesday at St. Mark R.Z.U.A. by the Rev. Alvin Ben Thomas. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. The remains will be ready for viewing today at 3 p.m. The remains will be taken to the church at 10 a.m. The family will assemble at the residence at 11 a.m. Carlos A. Howard Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, is in charge.
