THELMA J. HILL

Thelma J. Hill, 48, of the 2400 block of Staunton Ave., died March 21, 1996, in her home.

Mrs. Hill, the widow of Blossom Hill, was a presser for Rental Uniform Service for 12 years. She was a native of Halifax County, N.C.

Survivors include two daughters, Cynthia Spruill of Landover, Md., Angela Williams of Portsmouth; her father, Will Pugh of Conway, N.C.; four sisters, Retha Edwards and Shirley Anderson, both of Conway, Elsie Jordan of Hyattsville, Md., Leatha Newsome of Pendleton, N.C.; a brother, James Pugh of Conway; two grandchildren; a very special friend, Willie Johnson; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, and friends.

The funeral will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Corprew Funeral Home Chapel, Portsmouth. Burial will be in Lincoln Memorial Cemetery, Portsmouth. Viewing at the funeral home will begin at noon today.
