Arthur Lee Davenport, 31, of the 500 block of E. Gibbs Road, died Saturday, March 23, 1996, in his residence.
Mr. Davenport was employed with Snow Jr. & King Inc., as a brickmason.
Survivors include his wife, Angela M. Davenport and a daughter, Ashley Nicole Davenport of the residence; his mother and father, Leroy and Judy Cornett Davenport of Gibbs Woods; four brothers, Leroy Davenport III and his wife Laurie of Ocean Springs, Miss., James L. Davenport of Chesapeake, Kenneth E. Davenport and Timothy S. Davenport and his wife Tricia of Gibbs Woods; paternal grandmother, Maggie K. Davenport of Murfreesboro, N.C.; maternal grandmother, Jewel Cornett of Coffeyville, Kansas; two nieces, Amy Sue Davenport and Amanda Nicole; two nephews, T.J. and Troy Davenport; Mama and Dad Baum of Gunn Hall Manor, Virginia Beach.
A graveside service will be conducted on Thursday at 1 p.m. in Moyock Memorial Park, Moyock, N.C. with the Rev. Fred Bates officiating. The family will receive friends for a visitation Wednesday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in Twiford Funeral Home, Great Bridge, Chesapeake.
