Bruno Luma, 78, of the 2400 block of Alder St., died March 24, 1996, in a local hospital.
Born in Avella, Pa., he was a member of Little Creek Amphibious Base Catholic Chapel. He was retired from the U.S. Department of Agriculture and also from the U.S. Navy after 22 years of service. He was a member of Fleet Reserve Branch (NU)60 and was a veteran of World War II and the Korean War.
He is survived by his wife, Loretta Kardas Luma of Norfolk; two daughters, Susan Agnew and Sandra Lee Luma, both of Norfolk; son, Robert William Luma of Norfolk; sister, Rose Stolze of Finleyville, Pa.; and three grandchildren.
A funeral will be 11 a.m. Wednesday in Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens with military honors. A Fleet Reserve service will be held today at 7 p.m. in the funeral home where visitation will follow.
