Elsie Butler White, 83, of Winston Park Rest Home, died March 26, 1996, at Bertie Memorial Hospital, Windsor.
Mrs. White, the widow of Gillis Clemon White, was a homemaker. She was a native of Bertie County, N.C., and a member of Askewville Baptist Church.
She is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Zelna Adams of Colerain and Mrs. Jackie White of Windsor.
A graveside service will be conducted at 4:30 p.m. today in Edgewood Cemetery by the Rev. Freddie Harris. The family will assemble at Garrett Funeral Home, Ahoskie, at 3:30 p.m. today prior to the service.
