Audrey J. Ramsey, 87, of the 200 block of Overland Road, died March 26, 1996, in Norfolk.
Mrs. Ramsey, the widow of William John Ramsey, was a native of Middlesex County, Va. She was a member of Spurgeon Memorial Baptist Church, Norfolk.
Survivors include two daughters, Nancy Pope and her husband, Walter, of Virginia Beach, Carolyn Dudley and her husband, Danny, of Virginia Beach; a brother, Howard B. Jarvis of Newport News; three granddaughters, Beth Grabowski and her husband, Frank, Susan Roenker and her husband, Paul, and Elizabeth Dudley; two grandsons, Walter Pope Jr. and Bryan Dudley; four great-grandchildren, Lauren and Dana Grabowski, and Douglas and Amanda Roenker.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday in Riverside Memorial Park Cemetery by Dr. Paul Lawson. The family will receive friends at Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel, today from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Contributions may be made to Children's Hospital of the King's Daughters, 601 Children's Lane, Norfolk, 23507.
