Doris Louise Strohecker, 67, of the 500 block of Hillwell Road, died Tuesday, March 26, 1996, at her residence.
Mrs. Strohecker was born in Baltimore, Md. She was the daughter of the late Edgar and Marie Sautter Brandt and the wife of the late Charles F. Strohecker. Mrs. Strohecker was a member of Grace Lutheran Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Debbie S. and her husband, Steve Ireland, of Richmond; her three sons and their wives, Ric and Julie Strohecker, Donn and Lori Strohecker, Phil and Debbie Strohecker, all of Chesapeake; her brother, Walter H. Brandt of Berlin, Md.; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday at Grace Lutheran Church by the Rev. William Boldin. Interment will be in Chesapeake Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Oman Funeral Home, Great Bridge, Thursday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Grace Lutheran Church, 521 Providence Road, Chesapeake, 23325.
