John Edward ``Mickey'' Seifert, 70, of the 200 block of South Rosemont Road, died Tuesday March 26, 1996, in a local hospital.
He was a native of Phoenixville, Pa., but had resided in the Tidewater area for the past 50 years. He served his country in the U.S. Navy during World War II and received an honorable discharge.
He is survived by his wife, Jean B. Seifert; two sons, N.H. ``Chuck'' Seifert of Suffolk, Glen D. Seifert of Murrysville, Pa.; a daughter, Donna Jean Lowery of Jacksonville, Fla.; stepmother, Florence Seifert; stepsister, Patricia Burkley, both of North Wales, Pa.; a brother, William H. Seifert of Birchrunville, Pa.; and seven beloved grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Kellum Funeral Home, Bonney Road Chapel. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Arthritis Foundation, American Cancer Society, or the National Kidney Foundation.
