The World Affairs Council of Greater Hampton Roads will sponsor a half-day conference Monday on peace, stability and economic growth in the Philippines.
The program at Old Dominion University's Webb Center is co-sponsored by The Asia Society and the Filipino American Student Cultural Center.
The event will include two morning panels featuring several current and former Philippine government officials and a keynote luncheon address by Nicholas Platt, a former U.S. ambassador to the Philippines.
