Added to the outpouring of sympathy and tributes to the two Chesapeake firefighters, Frank Young and John Hudgins - fallen heroes - none was more moving than the tribute written by columnist Charlise Lyles (MetroNews, March 23).
No longer will I take for granted the very real and present dangers which firefighters confront on a daily basis. Their courage and commitment in ``risking their mortality for the sake of others'' deserve our deepest gratitude.
