Della ``Banjo Boy'' Harper, 76, of the 2800 block Princess Anne Road, died Saturday, March 23, 1996.
She was a native of Rocky Mount, N.C., and was the wife of Joseph Harper of Norfolk. She was a member of Holy Jerusalem COGIC, Norfolk.
She is survived by her husband, Joseph Harper; sister-in-law, Bertha Smith of Norfolk; two nieces, Princess Daughtry and Sarah Resse of Norfolk; two nephews, Woodrow and William Buett of Norfolk; and many family and friends with one devoted friend, Mrs. Thalma Young.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday by Elder Queenie Barton in Holy Jerusalem COGIC, Norfolk. Burial is in Calvary Cemetery. Hale Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
