Bernadette Sanders, of the 9600 block of 18th Bay St., died March 23, 1996, in her residence.
Mrs. Sanders, a student of Commonwealth College, Virginia Beach, was a native of Tucson, Ariz. She was a Catholic.
Survivors include her husband, Randolph Sanders of Florence, S.C.; a daughter, Sheronda Sanders of Norfolk; a son, Kahlil Patrick of Norfolk; stepmother, CaroleAnn Patrick of England; her mother, Helen Gamboa Linden of Arizona; her father, James Patrick of England; two sisters, Teresa Echols of Norfolk, Michelle Patrick of England; a brother, Julius Patrick of England; paternal grandparent, Verona Stephens of Trinadad.
The funeral will be conducted at noon Friday at Bascilica of St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception by Father Walter Barrett. The remains will be ready for viewing today from 6 to 8 p.m. The family will assemble at Carlos A. Howard Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, Friday at 11:15 p.m. for the procession.
