Danny Lee Grigsby, 45, of the 4300 block of Emporia Ave., died March 26, 1996, in a Norfolk hospital.
He was a construction inspector for the Virginia Beach Public Schools, where he had worked for 15 years. He was a native of Kalamazoo, Mich., and was a member of Avalon Church of Christ.
He is survived by his wife, Robyn Lynnette Grigsby; daughter, Michelle Soos and her husband, Michael, who is in the U.S. Air Force stationed in Germany; three sons, Michael Grigsby of Virginia Beach and Danny Grigsby and Thomas Grigsby of the home; parents, Terri Raffaelli and James Grigsby; three sisters, Carol, Theresa, Eileen; five brothers, James, Thomas, Donald, Kenneth, Robert; and granddaughter, Melanea Soos.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday by Jimmy Bennett in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Indian River Chapel, in Colonial Grove Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 6 to 9 p.m. The family suggests memorial donations may be made to the Grigsby Memorial Fund, c/o Virginia Beach Public School Federal Credit Union, 3500 Virginia Beach Blvd., Virginia Beach 23454.
