Lester Cooledge Hollyfield Sr., 76, of 1032 Gold Leaf Court, formerly of Spring Lake, N.C., died Monday, March 25, 1996, in the Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Hampton.
Mr. Hollyfield was a retired carpenter and was an Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include one son, Lester C. Hollyfield Jr. of Virginia Beach; one brother, Ardist Hollyfield of Greensboro, N.C.; two sisters, Pauline Bloom of Greensboro and Averley Inman of Pinehurst, N.C.; and two grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. in the Adcock Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. William Beasley. Burial will be in LaFayette Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Adcock Funeral Home from 7 to 9 p.m. today and other times at 1689 Danbury Drive, Fayetteville, N.C.
