Martin James ``Jim'' Padalino, 45, a vice president of Sandia Imaging Corp. of Carrollton, Texas, died suddenly of brain cancer March 26, 1996, in Reston, Va.
Mr. Padalino, who was born in Wurzburg, Germany, moved with his family to different military bases while his father, Colonel Martin L. Padalino, served in the army. Following retirement from the service, the family moved to Parsippany, N.J., where Jim graduated Parsippany High School in 1969 and Seton Hall University in 1973.
His career took him to Australia where he spent several years with Xerox Corp., returning to the United States and eventually to Dallas, Texas. His survivors include his daughter, Michelle of Dallas, Texas; brother Frank of Herndon, Va.; and sisters, Susan Padalino of Reston, Va., and Rita Kuntz of Springfield, Va. Also his father, Col. Martin Padalino, retired, and his loving step-mother, Ellen, whose love she gave with such tenderness and feeling.
The family will be receiving friends at Green Funeral Home, 721 Elden St., Herndon, Va., Friday, March 29, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at St. Catherine's of Siena, Great Falls, Va., on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. Interment at Fairfax Memorial Park.
