Christianna Ethel Edwards, 94, died Wednesday, March 27, 1996, in Halifax Memorial Hospital, Roanoke Rapids, N.C.
A native of Northampton County, she was the daughter of the late Robert Lee and Lillie Stephenson Edwards. She was a longtime resident of Norfolk, where she retired from the Colonial Food Stores Business Office after 26 years of employment. For the past two years she has been a resident of Roanoke Villa in Rich Square, N.C.
Survivors include several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted today at 2 p.m. in the Roberts Chapel Baptist Church in Pendleton, N.C. Burial will follow in the Roberts Chapel Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Roberts Chapel Baptist Church, Pendleton, N.C. Bridgers Funeral Home, Inc., Conway, is in charge of arrangements.
