James R. Hogan Jr., 63, of the 400 block of Johnstown Road, died March 27, 1996.
He was a retired electrician and a native of Norfolk.
He is survived by his wife, Cheryl A. Hogan; daughter, Cynthia L. Reed of Charleston, W.Va.; mother, Lesta Lloyd Hogan of Chesapeake; sister, Rosemary Hackworth of Chesapeake; three brothers, Robert Hogan of Chesapeake, David Hogan of Charleston, S.C., and Paul Hogan of Chesapeake.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday by the Rev. Paul D. Moore in Chesapeake Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Bridge Chapel, today from 7 to 9 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
