Ellen Warren Bruce Anthony, 90, formerly of Richmond, died Thursday, March 28, 1996.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Coleman Anthony, who was for many years Commandant of Cadets at John Marshall High School in Richmond and who had been director of public safety for that city. She was a member of St. James's Episcopal Church in Richmond for more than 55 years.
Mrs. Anthony is survived by three sons, James Coleman Anthony Jr. of Williamsburg, Barry Bruce Anthony of Virginia Beach and John Duke Anthony of Washington; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
There will be a private interment at the graveside service at Hollywood Cemetery in Richmond. Bucktrout of Williamsburg will be handling the arrangements.
