Mr. Paul Wheeler Kirk, 91, died Thursday, March 28, 1996.
Mr. Kirk, born Nov. 29, 1904, in Jacksonville, Fla., and formerly a resident of Portsmouth, was a retired official of the former Seaboard Air Line Railroad (now a part of CSX Transportation).
He is survived by his wife, of more than 70 years, the former Rowena Terrell of Atlanta; two sons, the Rev. Terrell T. Kirk of Dunedin, Fla., and Dr. Paul W. Kirk of Virginia Beach; four grandsons; and one granddaughter; three great-grandsons; and two great-granddaughters.
A private family service will be held Monday at Westview Cemetery in Atlanta. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Peachtree Christian Church in Atlanta or a charity of choice. H.M. Patterson and Son, Spring Hill, Ga., is in charge.
