Margaret Z. Sawyer, 66, died March 29, 1996 in a Norfolk hospital.
She was born in Norfolk County and was the widow of Glen Sawyer Sr. She was retired from Kings Department Store.
She is survived by three daughters, Ruth Knight of Corapeake, Brenda Hand of Virginia Beach, Linda Wickline of Chesapeake; a sister, Marie S. McDaniel of Chesapeake; a brother, Robert S. Sawyer of Norfolk; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Bridge Chapel, Elder Ronald Malonek officiating. Burial will be in Chesapeake Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. The family will be at 5484 Doon St., Virginia Beach at other times.
