Lucille Land Bolsam Grennell, 84, died March 30, 1996, at Riverside Regional Convalescent Center.
A native of Virginia Beach and Norfolk, she had been a York County resident since 1973. Mrs. Grennell was born Sept. 23, 1911, in Princess Anne County, Va., the daughter of the late George W. Land and Angie Land. Along with her parents, she was predeceased by three brothers and three sisters. She was a member of St. Luke's United Methodist Church, Yorktown.
She is survived by three daughters, Rosa B. Poyner and her husband Glenn of Virginia Beach, Edna B. Haggerty and her husband Joseph of Yorktown and Sandra B. Livesay and her husband Rodney of Mesa. Ariz.; three sisters, Edith Wilson of Virginia Beach, Irene Stevens of Norfolk, and Doris Brown of Tyler, Texas; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held 11 a.m., April 2, 1996, at St. Luke's United Methodist Church, Grafton, with the Revs. Thomas Sweat and Norwood Montgomery officiating. The family will receive friends at a luncheon immediately following the service. Interment will follow in Hampton Veterans Memorial Gardens at 1:30 p.m. Memorials may be made to the Cherished Care Unit of Riverside Regional Convalescent Center, 1000 Old Denbigh Blvd., Newport News, Va. 23602, or York County Food Closet, c/o of St. Luke's United Methodist Church, P.O.
