Patricia Kathleen Wilshaw Moore, 68, of the 600 block of Pennsylvania Avenue, died March 30, 1996, in a Norfolk hospital.
Mrs. Moore was a native of Plymouth, England. She was the widow of Sgt. Major James Francis Moore, USMC., Ret., and was preceded in death by her son, Joseph R. Moore.
Survivors include her children, Lynn F. Barnes and her husband Edward of Virginia Beach; five sons, Michael J. Moore and his wife, Toni of Sneeds Ferry, North Carolina, Patrick W. Moore and his wife, Elizabeth of Norfolk, John W. Moore of Norfolk, Peter B. Moore and his wife, Mary Jo of Des Moines, Iowa, Kevin S. Moore of Norfolk; two sisters, Eileen Stephens of Plymouth, England, Sheila M. Gross of Chesapeake; six grandchildren, Lisa Floyd, Stephanie Barnes, Michael, Tara, Kathleen and Joseph Moore and one great-grandchild Stephan Floyd, and many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church by the Rev. John Dorgan. Entombment will be at St. Mary's Cemetery, Norfolk. A christian wake service will be held in H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Norfolk, Tuesday evening at 7 p.m., Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Jude's Childrens Hospital. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Norfolk will be handling the arrangements.
