Donald H. Rusch, 60, died March 29, 1996, in his residence.
Mr. Rusch was a native of Long Island, N.Y., and was a purchasing agent for Controls Corporation of America for twelve years. He was an active member of Hope Lutheran Church in Virginia Beach.
Survivors include his wife, Sallie A. Rusch, a daughter, Darlene M. Strickland, a son, D. Scott Rusch, all of Virginia Beach; a sister, Joyce Healy of Los Altos, Calif.; a brother, Raymond Rusch of Orlando, Fla.; two grandchildren, Mason Donald Rusch and Zachary Ty Strickland and many nieces and nephews.
A church service will be conducted at 11 a.m., Tuesday, April 2, 1996 at Hope Lutheran Church by The Rev. Paul L. Kettner. A graveside service will be held in Strasburg, Va., on Wednesday, April 3.
The family will be receiving friends Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m., and Monday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. in the funeral home. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The American Cancer Society in his name. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments Laskin Road Chapel, is handling arrangements.
