William Lewis ``Billy'' Jones, 23, died March 28, 1996, in his residence.
He was born in Norfolk and was a Baptist. He is survived by his mother, Betty Simmons of Norfolk; stepfather, Terry O. Simmons; maternal grandmother, Estelle Eason of Norfolk; four sisters, Tammy Hartman of Roanoke, Va., Cindy Roberts of Cornersville, Tenn., and Teresa Goss and Eleanor Simmons, both of Norfolk; five brothers, Robert Jones of Roanoke, Daniel and wife Michelle Jones of Norfolk, Stephen Simmons of Norfolk, and John Simmon and Kenneth Simmons, both of Norfolk; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral will be Monday at 2 p.m. in Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel. The family will receive friends in the funeral home today from 7 to 8 p.m.
