Florence R. Mitchell, died Sunday, April 14, 1996 in an area hosptial. She was the widow of L.B. Mitchell Jr.
She is survived by her sons, L.B. Mitchell III of Portsmouth and C.R. Mitchell of Charlotte, N.C.; her grandchildren, Eleizabeth Netts of Portsmouth, Jo Carol Mitchell of Clemson, S.C., Kathy Mitchell of Seattle, Wash., Jeff Eley of Charlotte; her sisters, Josephine Dees of Greenville, N.C., Marybell Moore of Washington, D.C., and Charlotte Hardee of Virginia Beach.
There will be a memorial service at Baylake United Methodist Church April 30, 1996 at 2 p.m. No flowers please, donations may be made to the Baylake United Methodist Church or the charity of your choice, in her memory.
