Elsie May Johnson Wilkins, 91, of the 100 block of River Point Drive, died April 15, 1996, in Obici Hospital, Suffolk.
Mrs. Johnson, a native of Portsmouth, was the widow of Herbert Thomas Wilkins Sr. She was a member of Epworth United Methodist Church, Norfolk. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by two daughters, Lorainne W. Tennefoss of Virginia Beach and Joan W. Johnson of Suffolk; son, Herbert T. Wilkins Jr. of Virginia Beach; 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. She was predeceased by a daughter, Shirley W. Johnson Davies; and parents, Eula Lee Adkins Johnson and Edward Johnson.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. today by the Rev. E.E. Jones in Riverside Cemetery, Norfolk. The family will receive friends at 130 Brittany Lane, Suffolk, following the service. Harrell Funeral Home, Suffolk, is in charge.
