Adela Ware McDaniel, 89, of 3100 Shore Drive, died April 10, 1996.
Mrs. McDaniel was a native of Marshallville, Ga., a former longtime resident of Bronxville, N.Y., and more recently of Moutain Lake, Lake Wales, Fla. She was the widow of George Dawson McDaniel and the daughter of Mims S. Ware and Frances Adela Barksdale Ware. She was a member of the Dutch Reformed Church in Bronxville, N.Y.
Survivors include a daughter, Nancy McDaniel Barden of Virginia Beach; two sons, George Dawson McDaniel Jr. of Bridgewater, N.J., and William Mims McDaniel of New York, N.Y. She is also survived by five grandchildren, Heather McDaniel of London, England, Adam McDaniel of Bridgewater, Terrell Allan of Clayton, N.C., Margaret Barden of Culpepper, Va., John Robert Barden Jr. of Asheville, N.C.; and four great-grandchildren. Mrs. McDaniel was preceded in death by two sisters, Ruth Ware Bell Henim of Coral Gables, Fla., and Alleyne Ware Booton of Marshallville.
A graveside service will be held at 9 p.m. Sunday in the Marshallville City Cemetery, Marshallville. Found and Sons Funeral Home, Culpepper, is in charge.
