REGINALD RAMSEY

Reginald Ramsey, 81, died April 13, 1996, in Chesapeake.

He was a retired staff sergeant in the U.S. Army and was a veteran of World War II, the Korean War and Vietnam War. Born in Danville, Va., he was the widower of Eva Watson Ramsey.

Survivors include a son, Watson D. Ramsey of Knotts Island; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday by Chaplain Lt. Col. Charles W. Hemming in Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel. Burial will be in Colonial Grove Memorial Park, Virginia Beach. The family will receive friends in the funeral home one hour prior to the funeral service.
