An 84-year-old Norfolk minister was arrested Tuesday in connection with two sex-related crimes, police spokesman Larry Hill said.
The Rev. Richard Richardson, pastor of the Fellowship Church of God in Christ, was arrested at 9:30 a.m. at the Police Operations Center in the 3600 block of Virginia Beach Blvd.
Richardson, of the 2300 block of Keller Ave., was charged with animate object penetration and indecent liberties with a minor.
The crimes allegedly occurred between March 15 and April 17 at the church in the 700 block of E. 29th St.
The victims were teenage female members of the church, Hill said. Police are trying to identify other victims. ILLUSTRATION: Photo
