Gertrude Elizabeth Gresham, 76, died April 2, 1996, in an Elizabeth City hospital.
Ms. Gresham, a native of Charksburg, W.Va., was a retired accountant with the U.S. Government. Her hobbies included working with ceramics and stained glass. She was the daughter of the late Clarence Gideon and Lillian Rucker Gresham.
The funeral will be held at Twiford's Colony Chapel, Manteo, Thursday at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Robert Bundy officiating. The body will then be taken to Morris Funeral Home in Jane Lew, W.Va., for burial. Visitation is scheduled at Twiford's Colony Chapel today from 7 to 8:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Outer Banks Cancer Support Group, P.O. Box 3384, Kill Devil Hills, N.C., 27948.
