AYAKO E. OWENS

Ayako Ebihara Owens, of the 1400 block of Old Oak Arch, died March 29, 1996, in a Virginia Beach hospital.

She was born in Tokyo, Japan, and was a member of Courthouse United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Everett Owens; two daughters, Rebecca Owens Koucheki of Crossville, Tenn., and Patricia Owens Kasey of Chesapeake; two sisters, Takako Ohta and Keiko Satoh, both of Tokyo; three brothers, Hideichi Ebihara, Hiroshi Ebihara and Syaji Ebihara, all of Tokyo; three granddaughters, Leilea Koucheki, Cassidy Koucheki and Cameron Koucheki, all of Crossville, Tenn.; and one grandson, Matthew Kasey of Chesapeake; two sons-in-law, James Kasey of Chesapeake and Dr. M.H. Koucheki of Crossville.

A memorial service will be Friday at 2 p.m. by the Pastor Larry E. Lenow in Courthouse United Methodist Church. Burial will be private. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Lynnhaven Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
