Mary Respess Carrow, 72, of the 600 block of Hopi Court, died April 3, 1996, in Suffolk.
She was a native of Beaufort County, N.C., and the wife of Mervyn Thomas Carrow. She was a member of Central Baptist Church, Portsmouth.
She is survived by her daughter, Lola Elizabeth Carrow of Portsmouth; two sons, Roger Lee Carrow of Chesapeake, Danny Ray Carrow and his wife, Denise of Suffolk; sister, Annie Allen of Pantego, N.C.; two brothers, Lewis Craig of Georgia and Richard Craig of North Carolina; four grandchildren, Gerry Dean Carrow, D. Michelle Davis, Joey Ray Carrow and Susan Kay Carrow; three great-grandchildren, Jason Davis Jr., Victoria Roberts, Courtney Davis.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens by Dr. U.G. Robertson. The family will receive friends at the Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, today from 7 to 9 p.m.
