LENORA MCCLEASE

Lenora McClease, 78, of the 1000 block of Hampton Blvd., died April 1, 1996, in a local hospital.

She was a housekeeper at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. Mrs. McClease was a native of Chesapeake and the widow of Lloyd McClease. She was a member of Holy Ghost Church of Fire, Norfolk.

She is survived by two daughters, Theresa Loftin and Charlotte McCall, both of Norfolk; five sons, Melvin McCall of Baltimore, James Ricks of Suffolk, William Ricks, Alexander Ricks, and Alphonso McCall, all of Norfolk; brother, Johnnie Pleasant of Chesapeake; over 70 grandchildren, among them, Robin Southall of Norfolk, Izona Savage of Norfolk, Vincent Parker of Texas, Alexander Ricks of Norfolk, Kisah Ricks of Norfolk, Carolyn Ricks, Mary McCall, both of Norfolk, and Crystal Ricks and Hazel McCall, both of Norfolk.

A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday by Pastor Porter in Holy Ghost Church of Fire, 1113 Campostella Road, Norfolk. Burial is in Hampton National Cemetery, Hampton. Family and friends will assemble at 1611 Colon Ave., an hour prior to the service. Metropolitan Funeral Service is in charge.
