Doris D. Stith, 59, formerly of Round Bay Road, died Tuesday, April 2, 1996, in Maryview Medical Center.
She was an organist and member of First Baptist Church Lamberts Point. She was a native of Norfolk and the daughter of the late Felton and Amelia Stith. She was a graduate of Booker T. Washington and attended Norfolk State College.
She is survived by three loving children, Phyllis Stith of Suffolk, Michelle Stith of Norfolk; son, William Stith of Norfolk; three devoted sisters, Marion Scott of Norfolk, Zelma Deas of Portsmouth and Gloria Wells of Baltimore; four grandchildren, Jovan and Kenya Stith of Suffolk and T'Keyah and Shakeyah Stith of Norfolk and a niece, Delicia Arnold of Baltimore; uncle, Harry Seaborn of Philadelphia; and a godson, Louis Rolan of Richmond.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday by the Rev. Anthony C. Paige in First Baptist Church Lamberts Point. Burial is in Roosevelt Memorial Park.
