Coval J. Brown, 75, of the 1100 block of Rodgers St., died April 3, 1996, in a Virginia Beach hospital.
He was a retired machine operator for Evans Products Company. He was a native of DeKalb County, Mo., and a member of Harvest Assembly of God, Chesapeake.
He is survived by his wife, Ruby Drew Brown; two daughters, Sheila Jones of Roanoke and Rebekah Brown of Chesapeake; stepdaughter, Joyce Jacobsen of Redding, Calif.; son, James Robert Brown of Belaire, Mich.; two stepsons, Gerald Nuckles of Chesapeake and Ronald Nuckles of Virginia Beach; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday by the Rev. Ronald Wienke in Harvest Assembly of God. The family will receive friends at the Graham Funeral Home, South Norfolk Chapel on Friday from 7 to 8 p.m and at the residence at all other times. Burial will be in Southern Cemetery, Central Lakes, Mich. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association.
