Carl E. Ferguson, 71, of the 3700 block of W. Neck Road, died April 3, 1996, in a Virginia Beach hospital.
He was a native of Logan, W.Va. Mr. Ferguson was the leader, the father of, and the rhythm guitar player for the Cross Roads Band who have performed many times in the Tidewater Area. He was also a lifetime member of the Disabled American Veterans. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
He is survived by his wife, Minnie Ferguson; daughter, Sandra Adams of Centerville, Iowa; three sons, David E. Ferguson, Steven R. Ferguson, Roger L. Ferguson, all of Virginia Beach; two sisters, Mable Vickers of Virginia and Barbara Ferguson of West Virginia; 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Neck Chapel. Burial is in Colonial Grove Memorial Park.
