Paul Townsend Gaskins, 56, died April 2, 1996.
Mr. Gaskins, a native of Dare County, N.C., was a tugboat captain for A1 Towing.
He is survived by a daughter, Paula Daniels of Manteo, N.C.; sister, Irene Basnett of Frisco, N.C.; half-sister, Silinia Farrow of Frisco, Zelphinia Mosicidi of Frisco; brother, Lindsay Gaskins of Chesapeake; and half-brother, Loraney Gaskins of Frisco.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. today by the Rev. Horace Culpepper in Garrett Funeral Home, Ahoskie, N.C. Burial is in Cool Spring Baptist Church Cemetery with Masonic rites. The family will meet at the funeral home at 1 p.m. prior to the service.
