James Edward Miller, 83, of Route 6, died Wednesday, April 3, 1996, in his home.
Among survivors are daughters, Mildred Monds and Doris Saunders, both of Chesapeake and Shelvi Jean Presnell of Virginia Beach; and a son, Jimmy Miller of Staunton, Va.
The family will receive friends today from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Swindell Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. in Berea Church of Christ with burial in Cedar Wood Cemetery.
