JAMES E. WALKER

James Earl Walker, 63, of 304 Klamath Trail, died Wednesday at home. He was a retired carpenter, and the son of the late James Clinton and Hallie Allethia Davenport Walker.

Survivors include five daughters, Shelia Parks and Peggy Coleson, both of Edenton, Lesa Nolen of Tyner, N.C, Pam Holland of Hobbsville, N.C., and Sandra Snipes of Carrsville, Va.; sister, Gloria Dawes of Edenton, N.C.; two brothers, Delton Walker and Larry Walker, both of Suffolk; and seven grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Evans Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ben Gregory officiating. Burial will be at 2 p.m. in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens in Suffolk. The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 7 to 9 p.m.
