Paul Townsend Gaskins, 56, died April 2, 1996.
Mr. Gaskins, a native of Dare County, N.C., was a tugboat captain for A1 Towing.
He is survived by a daughter, Paula Daniels of Manteo, N.C.; mother, Lola Foster Gaskins of Hatteras, N.C.; sister, Irene Basnett of Frisco, N.C.; half-sister, Silinia Farrow of Frisco, Zelphinia Mosicidi of Frisco; brother, Lindsay Gaskins of Chesapeake; and half-brother, Loraney Gaskins of Frisco.
Burial is in Cool Spring Baptist Church Cemetery with Masonic rites. Garrett Funeral Home, Ahoskie, is in charge.
