I commend The Virginian-Pilot for two recent human-interest stories: one about the donation of a van to the Isle of Wight family with quadruplets, and the other, on the Military Page, regarding the Coast Guard petty officer who has donated blood and bone marrow to help others.
In a world so full of bad news and crime, it's nice to ready about kind, compassionate people in our midst. It's a pleasure to have something good to read in our newspaper for a change.
