Frank Gibson Jr., 43, died April 5, 1996, in Portsmouth.
Mr. Gibson, a native of Lake City, Tenn., was employed at Norfolk Naval Shipyard as a crane marketing specialist and a quality assurance supervisor. He was formerly active in area softball leagues and was a member of the American Softball Assoc.
Survivors include his wife, Therese O'Connor Gibson; three children, Ryan Dane O'Connor Gibson, Erin Lindsey Gibson, and Franklin Kyle Gibson; his mother, Maggie Mae Gibson; and a brother, Wayne Gibson, all of Portsmouth.
A funeral service will be held at noon Monday in Foster Funeral Home, Portsmouth. Burial will be in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens. Friends may join the family today from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home, and other times at 2172 Isabella Drive, Chesapeake.
