Gary Nelson Hannahs, 35, of the 1000 block of City Park Ave., died April 6, 1996, in a local hospital.
Mr. Hannahs was employed with Landmark Communications (The Virginian-Pilot) of Norfolk.
Mr. Hannahs is survived by his mother and stepfather, Mamie and Leon Best of Portsmouth; his father and stepmother, Gary L. and Judy B. Hannahs of Wakefield, Va.; maternal grandparents, Viola and William Liles of Littleton, N.C.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Monday in Olive Branch Cemetery, Portsmouth. The family will receive friends for a visitation in Twiford Colonial Chapel, Twiford Funeral Home, Great Bridge, Chesapeake, today from 4 to 6 p.m.
