Lucille W. Sheppard, 81, the widow of Linwood Sheppard, died April 6, 1996.
Mrs. Sheppard, a homemaker, was a native of Norfolk and a Baptist.
Survivors include a daughter, Mary Alice Jacquin of Virginia Beach; two brothers, Walter Wood and Ernest Wood, both of Norfolk; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday in Forest Lawn Cemetery by the Rev. Rick Hocker. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Virginia Beach Rescue Squad. Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, is in charge.
